Completely hand turned African Blackwood barrel based on the barrels made for me by Kalmen Opperman. Features naturally aged African Blackwood with a reverse taper designed to improve intonation throughout the instrument and improve resonance and response. Made from a single piece of wood, these barrels blow a bit more freely than those with rings without sacrificing projection or focus.
